Primer and Friends at the Tate by Jawa-Tron Primer and Friends at the Tate by Jawa-Tron
... So a few weekends back I was brought into a friends project at the Tate Modern to supply artwork onto a 30 metre window. This would be on view to the public throughout the weekend and, if you know anything of the Tate, thats a lot of people. Anyhow it was a perfect project for Primer [link] but with Groves still awol in Japan we had to get in some help. We did this through our friend Jim Vision of Cablestreet [link] and managed to get Twiy and Nick from Showchicken [link] involved. Twiy's stuff is in red, Nick's stuff is in green, Midwich's stuff is in black, Jim's stuff is in white, and my stuff is in yellow.

For a moment then you had me thinking the tate was worth the hastle of a visit to london. Nice try but I
can't be lured - however good your art is.

Last time I visited tate was when I put a work in each of them 'pool, 'ives, 'mod an 'brit. No I wasn't asked, just did it for fun. It's easier, cheeper and quicker for me to get to Paris or Barcelona than London. I served nearly forty years there - htink that was enough ;)

damn, that's sick! Proper nicely done and wicked line styles. First bit of decent art the Tate's ever had, maybe you'll start a new trend there ;)

Seems like a cool project.
I wouldve loved to hurt some trolls onto some glass.

What sort of materials did you use?
Did it take long? Looks like around one whole days work to me.

Fantastic stuff. Everyone did an excellent job putting down clean lines on a surface that exposes errors very clearly.
